Paul Brouard has been living in South Korea for the past couple of years and recently sent his 3rd 8b ‘Guazahling’ which translates to ‘Dominate’.
It took Paul just three days spread over a year to send the route. The pressure was on when Wei (Paul’s girlfriend) gave him a deadline of just 3 attempts to do the route (as there was nothing in the area for her climb) Talk about pressure!! 
Luckily he got the route with the help of good temps and good beta (e.g. using three fingers on the crux crimp instead of four). Paul says that the beta made the route feel quite basic.
Paul is due home in February this year and says that he is looking forward to trying old projects again!
