Cogmans Kloof. Montagu road upgrade

The Cogman’s Kloof Pass in Montagu is due for an upgrade in the next 18 months and the public is being asked to give comment.

I sent in comments saying that parking should be allocated for the different climbing areas in the Cogmans Kloof.   I was then contacted by the Breederivier Gazette for further comment about the importance of rock climbing in Montagu (see newspaper clipping below ).

Thanks to Daleen Fouche from the Breederivier Gazette

YAY! it would be so cool to climb at Boschkloof! Us newbies only hear about it and how great climbing there used to be – would be amazing to check it out if it opens again! Thanks to everyone involved in the process!
