Report: Montagu Anchor Replacement Fund (ARF) Meet May 2015

The May 2015 Montagu ARF Meet was a success, with nine and half routes getting rebolted (and old bolts removed).
The top anchors of the routes are also still a work in progress.

Also a sign was also put up for Boschkloof – this sign also serves as a marker for the path to Boschkloof.
Re-bolted the following on 23/05/2015

Sector: Legoland
Heinous Cling – 24
Easy Does It – 16
Mild Thing – 15
Hey, Come On – 19
Bolt your Bitch – 22
Oh My Goodness – 18
Pipe Dreams – 18

Sector: Steeple
Holy Moly – 26
The Church of Frederico – 23
The Shouting Stage – 29 (partially done)

Thanks to all that attended 🙂

Legoland and Steeple will be the first crags to be re-bolted.

Please can the climbing community further support this initiative with manpower of the weekend of 23rd and 24th May?  The more people we have, the more routes can be rebolted.

Come one peeps, even if ya can’t donate in cash, please help out in donating a small amount of your time. We spend a lot of effort to try and ensure things are safe, but receive almost zero help from the vast majority of the climbing community 🙁 It’s always a fun day nonetheless so come join 🙂
