Can a Drone Cut a Climbing Rope?

Drones can be annoying for a lot of climbers at the crag, but are they also a safety risk?  There is plenty of evidence of drones causing lacerations when impacting people, but could a drone blade cut a rope under tension and cause a climber to fall. I put together a basic test to see how the rope would hold up to the climbing rope.

The limitations of this experiment have been heavily debated over on reddit – you can read that here – https://www.reddit.com/r/climbing/com… – that led to the follow up experiment listed above.
