South African Highline Meeting 2018

The 5th edition of the South African Highline Meeting will be hosted at De Pakhuys in Rocklands over the Easter weekend, 30 March to 2 April 2018.

Highlines ranging from 20-65m long will be rigged and ready to walk.  A training line for learning highlining techniques will help first timers with the basics. Shorter slacklines will be up at camp and we’ll have some waterlines over the dams for fun in the sun too!

Other activities include:
Climbing, Swimming, Hiking, Unicycling, Juggling, Tricklining, Rodeolining, AcroYoga, Music, etc…

Camping and Accommodation:
De Pakhuys Campsite will be the main area of activity, in close proximity to the Highlines (10min walk), lake (swimming and waterline), kitchen, bar, etc.  There is no need to book a campsite, but for cabins, it’s best to phone the office in advance.

Alpha Excelsior also has accommodation available, and a dam for swimming and waterlining.  The new Donkey Camp has 8 permanent caravans for hire with two camp slacklines, about 30mins walk to the highlining action.

Traveller’s Rest is another accommodation option with a restaurant and slackline alongside a river.
