Solo Ascent – Chris Lomax Documentary

Long before Alex Honnold starred in Free Solo, scaling El Cap, there were climbers pushing the bounds.

Here’s an interesting documentary about South African free solo climber Chris Lomax. Chris was an important figure of 80’s climbing in South of Africa. A few short scenes with other important South African climbers such as Andrew de Klerk, Edmund February and Tony Dick. A little over-dramatic at some points, but a great peak into the South African 80’s climbing scene.
