A joint operation involving a mountain rescue team from the MCSA KZN Section, SAAF, KZN Wildlife and the Provincial Health Department took place today in the Monk’s Cowl area of the Drakensberg.
K-Way athlete AJ Calitz is again the champion of the annual K-Way Platteklip Charity Challenge after he summited Table Mountain’s Platteklip Gorge 11 times between sunrise and sunset on Saturday.
Each province was allowed up to 5 competitors per each of the 12 categories. The format of the event included semi-final rounds on the Saturday 16th April 2016 and the final rounds on Sunday 17th April 2016.
