What is the hardest climb you have done while the cliff was wet or it was raining?

Was rained off the 2nd pitch of "A time to climb" in Swinburne. Climbing slabs for the 1st time and in the rain sucked.

I topped out The Germans (27) at Fawlty Towers in Silvermine when it was raining. Did a sort of “beached whale” manoeuvre to clip the chains because I couldn’t grip the top with my hands

Shadow fax, 33/8b+. Perfect conditions while it rains though the end gets a bit tricky

Red Guitar on Fire (25) at The Mine. The headwall section is also 'tricky' when wet :)

Does hardest retreat count?

Getting washed off "Chouinard A" in a Seoul Thunderstorm. Getting buzzed by lightning flowing through the unavoidable streams of runoff. And then finding the path had turned into a river and washed our approach shoes away.

Type II fun.

It was more like a third of the wall Alex. Atleast a 120m (vertical climb) in a full on thunderstorm with zero visibility at night potentially on a first ascent as we didn't know where we were heading after attempting a FA. Probably ended up doing 200m in the above conditions as we zigzaged our way up. I forgot about that. Guess we climb in the rain quite a bit.

Definitely the best person to be caught in a storm with.

Thanks Bester

Snap dragon (29) only the last holds were wet.
Godzilla (32) wet crux foot and jug and finishing holds.

Fml I miss climbing
