Hi Justin

I can point you in the direction of boulders & introduce you to people who boulder regularly. We are training at my place this afternoon....shortly. You are welcome join us. There should be an old size 9 that you can squeeze into(& have).

hey :) well you live quite close to some awesome bouldering areas :) Alicedale and St Francis have a lot of stuff as well as Stutterheim near EL.....there is grots as well but its seriously sandbagged (really hard for the grades given).....with respect to gear you could take the 3hr drive down to George and visit Fearless Climbing Gym :) we don't have a huge amount of stock cos we so new but we got a couple nice evolve shoes for sale at good prices (under 1000).
Cheers
Nick

Hi all. I'm pretty much in the same boat.

I'm keen to get started too (not necessarily just bouldering, and have been seriously considering building a climbing wall at home). I bought myself climbing shoes and a chalk bag and gave the sport a brief go a few years ago. I'd like to try to get back into it again. All I've ever done was the Happy Valley wall and the indoor at Gateway mall a lifetime ago!

My main concerns/limitations are my fitness (spent the last few months drinking too much home brewed beer and watching the food channel) and the time (8 month old and angry wife at home!).

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Samesh
