Stuffing your down jacket into your sleeping bag cover makes the best pillow int he world

That Icebreaker stuff is really nice, but I'm a little concerned about the average New Zealander, they must be built like anorexic short-legged saartjie baartmans. The clothes are really tight around the calves, thighs and forearms, but quite loose around the middle. Apart from the "strange" fit, it is pretty damn neat

I know this is a very odd time to be asking about a down jackets, but I would like to invest in one but would like your options on them.

The two that I’m interested in are:

The First Ascent - Extreme Glacier Jacket

Cape storm - High Down Jacket

Does anyone own any of these jackets? What do you think of them?

And which would be the best for hiking in the berg and/or and going to the local crag to climb in winter?

Feedback would be really appreciated.
