I see that the bolted routes at Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve are between grades 20 and 24. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to top rope any of these climbs? Thanks Ian

Search for Nicholas Christopher van Zyl on facebook and message him.

Hi Ian,

You should be able to scramble to the top of the climbs fairly easy, the routes are quite short. Can't recall how far down the anchors were from the top of the rock (it wasn't very far, maybe a couple of metres at most), but I'm sure with some clever rigging you can set up a toprope anchor.

Good Luck!
