Everyone has the right to opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

If you're going to ban people, ban the meatheads who are continually starting new threads about how they need a climbing partner for the weekend.

For the record, I think blocking/banning people is stupid, and think the forum would be poorer for the lack of people like Guest.

Not only should you not display guest posts - but you should require people to use their full real name. That way you might get some constructive considered comments, rather than mindless anonymous drivel.

Unfortunately, getting people to display their true identities is not feasible...

As above, one can see that Guest has not been banned or blocked, however Guest's posts are generally not constructive and just cause unnecessary angst between users.
This forum is here for people to discuss climbing related topics. Humor is great too (if it's funny)

Think before you post - The question to ask yourself before clicking that 'Submit' button is 'Would I post this if people knew it was my opinion/view?

I've added up the votes and below is what Guest had to say - in relation to the following topic: http://climb.co.za/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=1184

Guest wrote the following:

\"at least you recognized my giant nads. They've been called things like \"gigantic\" or \"monstrous\", but until now, never giant. Well, I suppose they are... Huge is a better word.

your quips certainly made me chuckle 'COL' [chuckle out loud]! especially the Dodo remark. I would be the first one to bring out a bassball bat or golf club if I came across a Dodo. Fowl birds [hehe]. There is a reason we wiped them out. Just look at any inferior species that man decided should be exterminated. The Dodo was bloody ugly, couldnt fly, made huge droppings, probably made the most anoying sound, most likely stank and clearly just had this look that said \"PLEASE EAT ME\"!

Here's a tip for your next Silvermine adventure. Take a can of mace and toast the little Peregrine vermin. If we ALL do this to them ALL the time, maybe they will learn to stay away. WE own the rock, not some silly pea brained bird.

THE END\"
