I know this is not a complaints site, but I need to get this off my chest. Justin, if it's unacceptable feel free to remove, my apologies.

I've been trying to sort out this billing mess with Virgin Mobile for over a week now. I'm basically asking them to take my money, and they still don;t get it right.

The correct credit card details has been confirmed. There are ample funds.

Yesterday I was assured that everything is in order and thinks will return to normal after this confusion. Today, I receive this message from X stating that I owe them money and need to contact them, and when I try to phone, I get the message that my service has been suspended, so I'm unable to phone (even the toll free \"Sort me out number\", which he asked me to phone.)

Talking to their complaints department has basically been fruitless, and now I can't even phone them (I don't have a landline)

Do yourselves a favour and stay away!!!

ODC, you are right, this is NOT the site to vent your frustrations bro...

It's almost like the official complaints website of SA. Companies keep a close eye on the site, so you might even get a response from them...

I have added it there, but in my opinion the site is useless.

Do you ever go there before using a company to check, and then choose accordingly? Don't you think a company should rather effectively resolve complaints directly rather than become expert \"fire fighters\" via a public forum like that?

You said that companies watch the site - it's beyond that. I've tried to directly convince these pillars of incompetence to take my money for a week now, why would they rather respond to an anonymous posting on hellopeter?

As I said, the admins are free to remove it they feel it's of the mark so to speak, I won't hold a grudge.
