My Original list:
Do two routes in a day at Blouberg (Not quite, but did two routes in a weekend)
Open new routes at Magageni (YIP, but now we have lost access, so probably won't get another chance)
Go to Krakadouw and Tafelberg (Both)
Open that route at Makapans(GOT SPANKED)
Open new routes at Blyde:(YIP, did a new 6 pitch route on Mariepskop, was wild)
Onsight:
Ego Whip, (Nope, still have to go back to get the RP)
Space Walk,(YIP, scared the bejeesus out of me)
Bullit, (2nd go)
Aqua Balls, (Nope, still have to get the RP)
Prelude to Luka(Nope, screwed it up royally, climbed like a pussy)
the File, (Was wet every single time we went to Mlabatini) :(
Dive bomber, (Never went to Groofkloof)
Hang Dog (Hell yeah, climbed it like a man  )

Resolve issues: :
Difficult Shapes and Passive Rhythms (Hell Yeah)
Question of Balance(Nope)

Free Crack.exe (Never got to Manoutsa)

Go check out Scheeperskloof and find some of the other old trad venues and see if we can organise access. Never got around to Scheepers, access is pretty near impossible)

Other memorable routes:
Tafelberg:
Big Groove, Comes a Time, Rooibosch
TM:
Roulette, Jacobs ladder, Atlantic Crag,
Blouberg:
Scatterlings, Hey Jude, Something of Value
Krakadouw:
Itcheosaurus(Rested on crux),
Wilgepoort:
The Key
The Kloofs:
Gnasher,
Towerkop:
Crack A Jack
Magageni:
Head Arrangement, Impossible Dream, Naked Reptile, Gay Monkey, Rush of Blood to the Head all FA or FFA's

So all in all pretty good. Plans for this year:
Big sea cliffs:-)

Brilliant Ian! Very glad to have been involved in some of those with you (Blouberg, Blyde, Mhlabatini, Krakadouw, TM). I'm still keen for Eight Miles High, Crystal Fire, Soulcrusher etc!
By the way - "Ichthyasaurus" (a kinda dolphin version of dinosaur)

It was a good year: 213 routes, 475 pitches = over 14km of climbing. 45 routes on 2011 ticklist: 18 sent, 11 attempted and failed. 100 nights in tents/caves/bivi's.
So far my 2012 list has 36 routes/projects - and that's just the local stuff.

Big H my buddy....you didn't have a good year...you had a mind-blowing year...I wish I had achieved half of what you had! (Especially jealous of the Yosemite part!). And same for our Porterage!

That's impressive! Last year was pathetic so I have set my goals much much higher for this one! :) Hope to find a few new affordable destinations soon. It's all about adventure all the way this year!!
