Hi

Too often we slate poor service and are quick to criticize. So I'd like to thank MMO and CityRock for some great service.

I'm stuck on an island with nothing to spend my salary on so I thought I should buy a new rack. I'm leaving on a climbing roadtrip soon after I get back so I needed to preorder all my gear so that it is ready when I get back and I don't have to wait for stock to arrive. MMO are posting me my gear and as the postal service charges for packages that wait for collection, MMO mailed me to ask if they should hold it for a while and post it later or change the postal address to someone else who can collect it for me.
City Rock don't post gear but they are going to hold my gear for me until I arrive.

Thanks Richard and Jacques, MMO and City Rock respectively. You guys are awesome. That kind of service makes it worthwhile to pay the (smalll) premium of buying locally rather than ordering from overseas directly.

Thanx so much for your positive feedback. We really appreciate it. For that you can even get a free cup of coffee :thumright when you come and collect your cams!

So many problems arise when getting goods from overseas, and that's what we actually try to buffer when we do what we do - people don't have to wonder about e.g. if the full or half size shoe would fit, we have it in stock, no fuss.

From CityROCK's side we'll always try and give a little more regarding gear, advice and service, but its ultimately a privilege to give good service in a country rife with horrible customer service.

ps: we DO send goods anywhere you want, no problem!
