I've just been reliably informed that there are a few routes at Lakeside that have had hangers removed from the anchors. So far, I believe that the right hand routs are affected, only two of them.

Please be aware that this is potentially very dangerous, especially for novice climbers. It appears as thought the nuts were carefully removed, so whoever did so may return to repeat the exercise with other routes.

Be extremely cautious with the hardware on any of these routes. We have had much trouble with goblins vandalising these bolts in the past, and I really hope this is not a repeat performance.

As always, when climbing on bolted lines, do not take the integrity of the bolts for granted.
