Anyone been up TM after the fire?

I was wondering how much ash is on the rock and are most routes still climbable?

Also any parts of the top not burned out? I thought some of fountain ledge might be OK but I am not sure

I am not keen to walk up and find it is appalingly bad so let me know!

Hey Brussel,
I was on White Face on Lion's Head last week Friday. Burnt right to the top,even on the small ledges to the left and right! Rock surprizingly clean!
I reckon with the wind howling like it has it's probably helped clear most of the ash on the rock! I don't know about TM!? The ash might still be on the faces and ledges that are protected from the wind a little!
The devistation is truly shocking!

I don't think allot of people realize the extent of the damage!
Where humans tread distruction closely follows! It's inevitable!

Hi All

TM is a moonscape. Africa amphitheatre has nothing and I mean NOTHING left!!!

But good news is the rock is brilliant and ash is not a problem. The lack of vegetation and the black ground does make the walk in a little hotter than normal though!
