Many of us out there use Android smart phones (the clever ones at least

).
I wanted an app basically that linked to 8a.nu to keep track of routes and/or problems etc...
This does not exist though
Anyway, I found a "substitute" called
Climbdroid (
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.climbdroid&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5jbGltYmRyb2lkIl0.) that works very well.
Although there is a bit of initial setup in adding crags/etc, it works rad.
You can also attach GPS locations and photo's from your phone to the applications database.
There appears to be an online database from which you can retrieve some crag information. Not sure if what you upload/add get updated in that database for others to be able to access though. Hopefully it does, which will make adding new climbs more simple

Anyway, I found it nice and useful.
Go give it a try if you're interested.
Cheers,
Cuan
