Hi everyone

A friend and I are comming down to South Arifca for two months in november/december. We are two Swiss climbers trying to escape the ugly late fall/ winter weather in Europe.

Want to do manly sport but also some nice trad climbs. Defenitly gonna check out the crags around Cape Town and the Cederbergs and Wolfbergcrags!

Boven looks great too but I heard some scary stories about crime!? Is it really that bad? I'll be travelling with quite a bit of camera equipment....

What about weather? I guess HOT... any cold kloofs?

Oh and I saw a few pics of Pinnacle Gorge on the web. Looks darn wild! Where is that? Are any topos around?

I'm really looking foreward to comming to South Africa! You guys got some awesome rock!!! I cant wait!!!

Hi there ,

pretty much welcome to come and climb at Pinnacle .
Unfortunetaly , the topo of these crags are still in the making . Its a great place and just to make it better , there's 2 other gorges lying adjacent to Pinnacle . Its close to Port Elizabeth . PE is about 7hrs of driving to the east of Cape Town . There's much more in this direction , hard sport crags , great bouldering and fun trad climbs with cool camping spots !
