Hey all!
I went climbing at bronkies for the first time in a long while today and i noticed that there was some major infrastructure being put in place in and around the crag. I see that there is now a tarred road and a bridge over the stream!

what is going on here? is there a housing estate or something getting put up around there?

I get kinda worried about what this means to us w.r.t access etc around the crag and with regards to spoiling what i feel is one of the most beautiful sports crags in gauteng.

I heard its a new access road for a new housing development on the eastern side of the dam

The Dept. of Water Works is upgrading the road. The driving directions to the new parking area is in the above thread.
