i don't know whether or not this is old news, but i see FIXE hardware are now manufacturing the alien range of cams. looks great but pricey ...... so, who's going to import them for us?

We tried for months to no avail to get Fixe to send us some of their new aliens. Still not too sure why but it seems they are not very interested in our massive climbing market here in SA.

Your best bet at the moment is the Metolius Mastercam.

jip, i'm a staunch supporter of the mastercams. that said, i have not handled an alien, and given that it is sworn to by most of the old codgers around i guess it must be a remarkable piece of work. maybe someday i'll mailorder direct from them or something. for now mastercams = happiness
