I notice with sadness that News24 is reporting the death of a Cape Town woman on Lion's Head. It is always sad when someone loses their life in the mountains - even if that mountain is in your back yard. My condolences to her family and friends.

I know the report states the resue team has been asked not to talk to the public but I was just wondering if this happened on the path that runs from the chains on the contour past the Geo-chache area?

No, It was quite a bit off the path. The 2 girls went exploring in an area that wasn't safe to be in with out any safety equipment.
