Are there any recommended ones out there? I have a copy of Cape Rock. I ironically haven't climbed that much around SA, and want to remedy the situation in few months time when I come back for a visit...

For the Waterval Boven area, the one by Gustav is very good. You can get it from Roc n Rope, I think they have a website.

For KZN there are 2, but both out of print, Camping and Outdoors may still have a copy of the one by Harly Green. It covers most of the sport climbing in the provence. For Trad climbing you will need the one by Rodger Nattrass, it is very good but no longer on sale. Borrowing one from a local is your only option.

If you are looking to do climbing in Cape Town then you can get
a copy of Western Cape Rock, this will cover most of the sport routes in
the cape, montague, cederberg etc.

You can also check out The Ledge, Table mountain Classics and Penninsula
Rock, this will cover all major Trade climbs and a few sport climbs.

Also check out the new Paarl rock guide...everything you need to know about climbing routes at Paarl will be there.

All these books are available at any good climbing shops.
