Yo climbing peeps, Kalk Bay ARF is on the 29th!
We are aware of a few rusty lower-off's, is there anything else we should be aware of?
Any special requests?
Cheers

Re: Kalkbay ARF
From my last visit there, looked like surface rust, those are u-bolt glue-in's so should not give any problems,
I can't remember what the lower-off's are.

Hey Guys,
I would be there, but the 29th is a bad day, there is already Mountain Rescue Training and the TM clean up happening. Is there any chance of moving it to the following weekend?

Yeah those bolts will still be fine, 318 top grade steel, rust is most likely very thin shell of surface rust. Im hoping we can get the older mechanicals replaced and replace as many top anchors as possible as they are generally poor.Paul Goddard wrote:How bout Cling Thing Corms ?
