I just got myself a nice new drill , bolts and hangers. Going to bolt some nice new routes on TM.

Anybody now if I should use glue ?

I would definitely use glue ins. TM is so close to the ocean that glue ins will help to stop the inside of the bolts from rusting. There are some good lines to bolt in 'The Ledge'. I would also modify as many holds as possible to make them more 'user friendly'. I would recommend glue from UPAT, and eyebolts.

Happy drilling! :)

Fat b,

One tip, as you will find out, bolting can be a time consuming affair so to save some time rather start by bolting some of the trad lines.

Saves you the time and effort of finding new lines..

Hey Fat b

When are you planning on doing your bolting? I would love to assist. Give me a time and place and i'm there.

Oh, and just make sure your are wearing a bulletproof vest. That way i will be forced to shoot you in the head and don't have to waste time aiming for your left lung.

No wonder there are always issues between sporties and traddies.

Respect the rules of the crags - if there is no bolting, so be it. If you are jealous of the fact that you can't setup sports routes, start tradding.

bahahaha!

Lame troll man, really. The art of successful trolling involves 'subtly' baiting the hook. Your method, as it is at present, involves metaphorically beating the poor fish over the head with the rod. Practice makes perfect, now try again in another thread.

Thanks Nosmo for spelling it out to lame troll.

Fat B oil: Why wait for the weekend? This is a typical limp sport climbing attitude. Fact is sport climbers are too scared to bolt on TM. Most sport climber impetus gets absorbed at already tamed crags.

agreed, trolling attempt was very lame, but purposely so. Still had a few bites though. thanks Nuts, pillick and jeanpant. Honestly thought I'll get no reponse, but you guys came trough for me.
:D

I think my next attempt would involve the creation vs evolution debate.

I think evolution is a crap theory made up by so called scientist because they have no real explanation for the creation of life.
:P

no, I am Master Stitcher rsisland from the sewing forum

Thanks again rsisland. Does anyone else have any ideas for how I can print his mischievous little name right on the front? Would food coloring work?

or you can go to the local art and craft store and buy a bottle of fabric paint with a small tip and write his name with the paint onto the knitted fabric. Some of these paints even puff out when dry

No worries Marshall

A bit lame, but after rereading old jeanpant's response, it seems you got a threat of gun violence

Aahh, a age old trick. You make something sound so ridicilous that everybody thinks it's a joke, and then, when everybody is sitting around laughing at your apparent joke, you sneak in and do the deed.

I'm not fooled. Fat F**k is going to bolt TM and i will be waiting for him...

btw, if you are looking for a good place to bolt, go look in the mirror. the spot between your eyes is still vacant (pardon the tortology)

al these big words are confusing the hell out of me, reminds me of a tetralogy I a saw a while ago. must be due to the vacant spot between my exes.

tautology
needless repetition of an idea, esp. in words other than those of the immediate context, without imparting additional force or clearness, as in “widow woman.”

tort
a wrongful act, not including a breach of contract or trust, that results in injury to another's person, property, reputation, or the like, and for which the injured party is entitled to compensation.
ology

ology
Pronunciation
–any science or branch of knowledge.
