Hey, Anyone ever checked out the bouldering about 1 hour up Haelkop, starting in Jonkershoek. Some really good quality rock up there! I realize my photo's don't quite capture the best boulders but take a look.

Should actually put up camp there. Any water up there?

Unfortunently no water up there. Haelkop is one mountain along from Stellenbosch mountain. To get to it you walk into Jonkershoek reserve and then right and up to the top of the forest and a small trail continues up from there. The description is in Ernst Lotz's guide to the jonkershoek. As for the size of the boulders, as I said bad photography. There are decent size boulders around just didn't walk from one to the next. Downside the walk would be a lus with a pad and water etc.
