Hanger - Chosspile / Philosophers Stone

Post by emile » Mon Mar 01, 2010 8:56 am

Question: Why do some people place hangers horizontally? I see this every now and then, and as far as I know there's no logical reason for doing this - most hangers have a clearly etched arrow indicating which way it should be placed - why then purposely set it incorrectly?

The last hanger before the anchors on Philosophers Stone at Chosspile is placed horizontally and is already bent from taking falls. Unfortunately I did not have a spanner with me to correct the positioning. It will most likely still hold a good few falls, but it's far from ideal.

Emile, don't worry about using a spanner, I believe shen ling's mini pink hair straighteners do the job brilliantly. Don't forget to wear the Louis Vitton sunglasses though
