hi all

i would kind to find out if anyone knows if Llama Bouldering Pads are still available and are they just as good as the international brands we get locally?

also does anyone know anything about BouldGear and if you have one or tried one how would you compare it?

Hey Daniel

See this thread: http://www.climb.co.za/forum/viewtopic. ... 734&t=6438

The first batch of Llama pads had some issues with crappy and badly positioned straps, but the pad itself is excellent. It's indestructible and the foam is great. Give Frits a call. Apparently the shoulder straps and side-straps were completely redone. A bunch of people has used it by now. PM me if you want other opinions.

Just make sure that the foam is no longer single layer and single density. You'll be sorry if it is...
I hate this real world place... I'd be more than happy to live out there rather...
