Hi,

Just wondering if anyone wants to get rid of a old climbing rope in the cape town area :)

Don't want to take away from that other rope reuse project up country, very cool! Just if anyone happens to have down this way, I can collect.

Thanks!

What are you going to be using it for?

Renee - I hope the rope you are offering to Jane is not my blue one...If you're done with it give it back to me!

Jane - through the last few seasons I have chopped many many metres off my gym rope. Would these off cuts do? If yes - you are welcome to them. If no - well my gym rope is getting very close to retirement - I'll swing it to you when I finally decide I'm not happy climbing on it.

What are you thinking of doing? I really like Warren's rope sheath chalk bag.

Awww..... Ernesto, I thought you GAVE it to me! ........

Hahaha.... just kidding. :) The old rope is one that a guy in our lab gave to me. He used it for ice climbing and hectic mountaineering in the Alps and is a bit....err... on the dodgy side to say the least. :-/ Of course I'll give yours back to you, silly goose.

And I second the question - Jane, what are you using them for?

Rocking! Didn't think it'd be so easy, thanks guys, will collect! :)

Not, those cut off bits will be perfect too!

Ok, so you have to keep quite about this, don't tell any of my climbing friends, but I want to use them to make wedding invitations... :jocolor:
