Hi

I was coming down from Du Toit’s Peak on the afternoon of 8 September, and lost my camera towards the western end of the north-west ridge, above the scramble opposite the “Gendarme”.
I have indicated the area where I lost the camera on the two attachments - somewhere along the red line on the map excerpt, and somewhere between the two yellow markers on the Google Earth excerpt. Perhaps someone who’s doing the route might come across it! I am willing to give a reward if it is returned to me, because even if the camera has been damaged by the elements, the memory stick - and the photos - could maybe still be retrievable.
