The rules of the game are simple; The rally is all about climbing and scoring will be based on climbing as much as possible and/or as hard as possible, different categories will be allocated so everyone will have a chance to win prizes.

Hi there, here is some info on Montagu and the condition of the crags post-storm and flood water.

Here is a photo was taken yesterday. Most of the path is damaged but it is possible to mission through.

The pic is Waterworld. The base of Worlds Apart is also damaged but might be less of a problem.
It's still possible to climb Voices.

Funny thing about Brendan's photos, that is Waterworld crag and the first route put up is called 'The Mission'

The waters will have subsided come Rock Rally day and I'm hoping that the municipality will have done some path maintenance.

Aptly Named!

The first time I went to Badkloof, I followed the old guidebook and end up wading through waist high water.

Was that hail storm the same time as the flash flood?

There is a deep dam in the centre of Waterworld, as shown in the pic above. Supertubes is okay. The access to the Palace is great fun through mud and water. Access to the Supertubes and Sloth should be fine in a week or two.
