There were 4 old geezers at the Ledge yesterday, average age of 45 or so with 3 being older than 50. And there was Guy Jones 16 years old hiking "Last Tango" on to "The Cruise". There were no other climbers in sight. The last time a 16 year old hiked anything on trad at that level at the Ledge was probably 25 or so years ago. I know of 3 dudes that climbed incredibly well at that age: Andy de Klerk, Chris Lomax and Jeremy Samson. Not his fella.

'Tis the pity there aren't any more around. But one is better than none.
