The other weekend we were fiddling round at the Pumphouse... there were a whole lot of people climbing 'round the corner from us. Next thing we look: everyone's gone. Was the sudden exodus due to the jitters induced from a large rock that seemed to have fallen from the top of the crag? It landed right where people belay on one of the easier routes. If anyone had been standing there, they would have been driven into the ground like a tent-peg. Gave me the willies. Can anyone shed light on what happened? Please people, be careful when walking around at the top of crags: you trundle anything, you could kill someone.
