We were sitting at the base of one of the strubens routes a couple of weeks back when a snake cruiseed right behind us (we moved very politely to get out of its way). Dont know what kind it was - small though (+/- 30 cm's)

caught a berg adder at the base of squaker (bronkies crag) a few weeks back. released it amongst the rocks a few meters from the climb. the poor girl hanging from the top rope did not think it was an amazingly beautiful creature......

Mokganjetsi: last year a snake was seen at Bronkies at chains of Rock Flower (next to Squeaker). That climber apparently also did not appreciated the snake's beauty :)

Clinton Martinengo took this photograph after he nearly stood on this fellow when leaving Lion's Head...

A few friends were on Lion's Head recently and also bumped into one of these fellows... a slightly smaller one though, so I am assuming there are more around!

My my Clinton that is a beauty. I wish mine was that big and angry! Maybe next time you should have taken it home to Guy Holwill and left it in his garden?
