Hi,

I'm in Cape Town for a week and a bit from tomorrow. I'm a beginner, climbing toprope (UK) 5A/B/C, bouldering (UK) V2/3 - have never lead climbed. Where should I go to climb in Cape Town, or better still do a lead course?

Any suggestions?

Welcome to this miserable autumn weather we are having in Cape Town at the moment
The best place to do a lead course is City Rock, its in Observatory. I think there is a map/address on the CR ad on the homepage of this site.
A very good & solid lead course imo.
There will also be loads of people to climb with at City Rock.
If you are still here on Sunday 17th April I can take you to lower Silvermine for a morning session.
