Re: anyone know where this is?
If I'm not mistaken (clouds are obstructing it a bit) that looks to me like lions head in the hoedspruit area of the lowveld. Picture is taken from the aventura resort called Swadini. If it is officially called lions head I'm not sure of either but that's what the locals told me its called.

Have a squizz through the MCSA journals - Sandleni already has a few routes on it. Most opened in the 60's and 70's (if I'm not mistaken). A couple sounded like big epics too.
Re: anyone know where this is?
erm... I meant Swadini. It's in MCSA journal under 'Swadini' or 'Swadeni'
Re: anyone know where this is?
Some of the rock there is really good quality. Access is the problem. That bush is horrid. Be warned, those faces are a lot bigger than they look in the picture. Between there and the tunnel are many many kilometres of unexplored HUGE walls. You gonna need a helicopter drop off though.
Re: anyone know where this is?
Living 20km from Swadini I have discovered a few things. The bushy approaches, and descents, are horrendous! The rock is, in places, superb. Legal access issues are a major obstacle. Climbers have been arrested for climbing there. Could be a major venue but I am giving up on trying to formalize access.
