I did it in March. The glacier has split in two and it can be crossed on rock without any trouble. climbing is not really a big deal, it's the abseiling that gets tricky. make sure you get a good explanation of where the stances are. I was with a friend you knows the place so I can't help with that. One of the local guides has backed up and bolted new stances. Contact Julian Wright at African Ascents.
