Can anyone recommend Via Ferrata routes / classic climbs in and around Cortina / Cinque Torri?
We probably won't have a trad with us.

Hey Justin, check with Kevin Smith and/or Roger Nattrass. During our Font trip last year they squeezed in a short trip to do some Via Ferrata routes, and can possibly make recommendations. Drop me an email if you don't have their email addresses.
Cheers, Evan.

Hi Justin,
Cinque Torre is brilliant, and there is an excellent guidebook available in German if you can't find one in English. You could ask Tony Lourens for more info, but I did 5 or 6 brilliant climbs there on Trad up to grade 20 as the bolted routes were all harder.
Regarding via Ferrata, there are good guidebooks in English to the whole lot, and there might be something in the MCSA library, else let me know and I could ask Mark Wilson for his copy which you could photo copy from.
Regards.
Mike
