Hi
Have a look at
http://kzn.mcsa.org.za at the route guides there.
As far as I know Monteseel is mainly trad.
I've climbed at Kloof Gorge and Shongweni.
Kloof Gorge has relatively difficlut climbs, The boneyard has a few easier climbs and great routes. (The rock does tend to suffer from water seepage after rains, this is usually confined to the first 1-2m).
Shongweni has some really great climbs of all grades. The red wall being probably the easiest of the lot with some really good long quality 17's, really nice views and surrondings. Shongweni tends to suffer from crime though, speak to the locals and find out the situation, you can also phone a day before and book a guard. This is relatively cheap. Don't let the crime deter you from a brilliant venue. By the way if you climb harder sport routes you can visit the wave cave, you can climb there even in the rain as the ovehangs are so steep.
