I'll be coming from the states into Johburg Jan 31 and will be staying in or around the city for upwards of 2 months. Unfortunately the weeks will be busy with work, but weekends, I want to climb as much as possible and will be looking for some people to go with.

I will be with a co-worker who has climbed (very very little) and I'd prefer not to give him a crash course in lead belaying while there. It seems like Boven is the place to start, but seriously, I'll go anywhere. I'll be flying in with gear (sport) and will have a vehicle while there. I'll gladly offer beer and a ride to anyone that wouldn't mind showing me around a bit.

There are loads of climbers in JHB so I'm sure you'll get sorted. Even if you guys head through to Boven, there are always people there to climb with and get some local knowledge from.
