I recently moved to Ermelo and I am looking for other climbers to share my passion with.
Beginners also welcome.
I have permission to use the (small but useful) wall at a local church, which was set up by a friend who cannot climb anymore.

I have the basic gear required. In time you will need your own shoes, harness, chalkbag, friction device.

so you live an hour from the best sports climbing in the country and yet will instead drive 4 hours to climb elsewhere? there is loads of trad in MP too

Well said Warren! Unfortunately I'm not keen on going solo, so I am pushing hard to get the Ermelo-ites to start climbing. In the meantime I am still active with Exploraio as I find myself often in Gauteng.

NOTE:
We are now climbing every Tuesday at 17h30 at the Hervormde Kerk Moedergemeente, Ermelo. The wall is small, but is a great starting point for beginners to learn the ropes. All welcome. No charge. As winter progresses we will start climbing earlier.
