I'm a total newbie to bouldering and never been to Rocklands - planning to go there this weekend. Anyone (maybe also doing some of the easier stuff) heading out there this weekend that I may tag along with over there?

My friend and I are also going through from this Saturday until the next, staying at de Pakhuys.
We climb up to 6C if we're strong on the day :)

Are you guys also staying at de Pakhuys?

If so, see you there!

Hi guys

I am Leaving for the Rocklands this Friday. Is there anything i should know?

excuse the ignorance as i tried looking up some of this stuff but all the info just seems a bit scattered.

- can i buy the guidebook there? (drifters doesn't have the new one)

- where do i stay? is it comparable to Tranquilitas?

- how far is the campsite from the more famous bouldering areas? eg. roadcrew

- can we rent bouldering pads there? (i might need an extra one)

thanks

http://www.depakhuys.com

You can contact Thys and ask him if they have pads to rent and I believe he has the guide book for sale as well.
