Hi,

I'm from Brazil and I'll be traveling around South Africa in some days.

I'll be alone and I'd like to climb. Probably i'll rent a car, so if there's someone off to climb, let's go!

Will be my first time in South Africa, so, any tip is welcome.

I like all kinds of climbing and I prefer boulder, sport and trad. I'll arrive at Cape Town at 27 May and than I've no plan, just climb!!! I've 15 days to spend around SA....

I'd like to climb at Cape, Rocklands, Cederbergs, Waterval Bovens and many other places. I know will be impossible to know all of these places, but I want to climb everything as possible.

15 days is good but you will not be able to travel the breadth of the country and climb a lot in that time. is suggest you keep your efforts concentraded to an area - either north & east (waterval-boven; magaliesberg, harrismith; natal) or south & west (cape town, montagu, oudtshoorn; cederberg, rocklands). for my money the south & west regions offer the most.

rocklands will be buzzing that time so you won't have trouble finding partners there during the week.

Getting to Cape Town on the 18th, and looking to head to the Rocklands on the 20th or so...looking to share car costs/hitch/etc (ie: get there as cheap as possible) and put my tent down and climb hard. If you know anyone looking for some gas money or to split a car, please let me know!! Thanks a ton!!
