My name is Hartmut Behrend, I am 53 years old, a passionate mountain hiker with quite good condition (30 km hiking a day incl. 2000 m altitude is a pleasant tour) and will visit the region around Cape Town / Western Cape from 5 - 15 January in order to go mountain hiking.
I am looking for a hiking partner who could accompany me on one or more mountain hikes in order to feel safer in case something is happening. Of course, hiking with 2 or more persons is also more fun than hiking alone.
I am German and political advisor for climate change in an international organisation.

The mountain hikes I would prefer most are Cederberg, Matroosberg, Somerset Sneeuwkop, Simonsberg and other beautiful and easily accessible mountains in that region.
