I'm heading to Cape Town November 12-17 for a vacation with my (non-climbing) wife. I'd like to take a day to head up to Rocklands to boulder, even though it appears to be off-season. I'm willing to buy the gas if anyone is heading that way, or even hire a guide if the price is right. I boulder V5/6C, but I'm already preparing the excuses "too hot", "jet lag", and something about being in the wrong hemisphere to explain why I'm struggling on what should be a warmup. I won't be carting any boulder pads with me on vacation, but can see about rental if needed. Anyone interested? If not, is it going to be too much trouble for me to rent a car, rent a pad, get a permit, and drive up myself?
