Hello all,
New to Cape Town. Right now just here till 21 Dec but arriving for 2 years come mid January. Would love to get out this weekend if anyone needs an extra belayer, or even just for gear carry. I've been locked in office all week and anything outside fine. Just looking to get connected to climbing community here. I have a 60M and a bunch of draws, but trad gear is still at home. Hope everyone is doing well and climbing hard. Looking forward to meeting some of you at the crag, one way or another.
oh... yeah... grades... I'm not very good, especially now when a bit out of shape from too much office work. I'd have to climb some to see how grades are here, but if Lourens guide is right, I should be able to lead 17 and 18 sport, and 19 if I'm real lucky. I'd be happy to follow anything in that range... I figure I can always cheat when following to get up and hopefully not slow anyone down.
