Between the Trees is a new movie from Keith Bradbury, featuring Tyler Landman's romp through Fontainebleau earlier this year (available from unclesomebody.com).
It is part tribute to Font and part "look what Ty did on his holiday" - which was almost everything. Ty had a reputation as one of the world's top boulderers - but this trip was staggering by his own standards. The movie shows him repeating many of the hardest and most impressive problems in Font, but it also shows several easier (but not easy) classics.
The movie definitely feels more Brit than Hollywood, with quirky interviews and substance rather than the impecible productions that we've got used to from BigUP. That said, the editing is slick (especially the opening bit), the music is good and it even has some fine B-Grade special effects!!
If you have ever considered going to Font, then this will be your tipping point. If you have climbed there before (and loved it as much as I do), then hopefully this will show your mates what you've been ranting on about.
I really enjoyed it (watched it 3 times in the first 2 days).
