Hi all – Warren Gans & Cormac Tooze have been doing some more rebolting for ARF at Kleinmond and as always I’m sure you would all love to help with the effort. So we will be holding a ARF meet at Kleinmond on Sunday 4th August. This is all in preparation for the Black Diamond Kleinmond Rock Rally which will be held soon.

For now please pencil this date in your diary, we will provide details closer to the time.

Kind regards
Andy Davies

Hi all – further to the post above, this is just a reminder that we will be holding an ARF meet at Kleinmond this Sunday 4 August. We will be meeting at the crag car park at 9h30am. All are welcome – we need belayers and burly guys and gals to help chop the old bolts. Also a big request to all the folks who have been trained to drill & glue – please we need you there. If you can make it please drop me a line so we can plan the day.

ARF is prepared to help out with fuel costs for people with reasonably full cars or cars carrying drills. Please contact me if you would like to take advantage of this offer.

So far its the usual suspects doing the community service. Myself, Cormac and Warren ARFing at Kleinmond while Douw & Ant are running a trad meet at Elsies this weekend. Is nobody else keen to help make our routes safer????? Pretty please we need help for Sunday

Due to the limited turnout we couldn't get too much done and had to leave all the bolt chopping gear in the cars. Following are rebolted:

Wings of Glory
Percolator
Palmiet Arete
Lady Boys
Rick Rocket
Lo Spiglio

Thanks for rebolting Percolator gents :) I did try to help but the battery died on me before I could make much of an impact.

Following are incorrect:
Wings of Glory still has a hole needing deeper drilling and subsequent gluing.
Palmiet Arete (Great route BTW), First 4 bolts complete
