Rockstock 3 , Saturday 18th July, Depakhuys campsite.

Rockstock is a totally non profit event aimed at bringing all the climbers in Rocklands together.

This year Rockstock will be held at the Depakhuys campsite and will feature the 'World International Airstar Championhips' hosted by Justin Hawkins,
bringing together the greatest air guitar stars from around the world to share their incredible talents with us.

There will be a spit braai, salads, draught beer and a fully licenced bar courtesy of Dekleder.

Schedule

6.00 - The party begins
8.00 - 9.00 food served
9.00 - 10.00 World Airstar Championships
10.00 - Late Music and Drinking all night!

Rockstock is only made possible by the involvement of the climbers you can leave your mark on Rockstock in 2 ways:

Enter the World Airstar championships - Its all about effort so choose your song and make a costume,places are limited so please contact us as soon as possible with your song.

Provide a playlist on your ipod - There will be a soundsystem and lighting, we want the music to reflect everyone so there are hour slots available starting from 6.00pm Contact us and let us know 3 songs that reflects your taste so we can schedule it appropriatley.

The cost of entry is 100 Rand, this gets you your meal and all the entertainment (drinks are not included).
There is no profit being made from this event and any money made will go straight behind the bar.
Please avoid bringing your own drinks as the bar is there to sell drinks.

Tickets are available from the Rocklands boulders office above Spar parade in Clanwiliam Monday - Wednesday

Yes tickets will be available on the day, but where possible if people are in rocklands if they could get tickets as soon as possible that would be great.
This is just to help with the plans and cashflow.

Rocklands this weekend, perfect weather, awesome vibe, and rockstock what more could you want. Its going to be massive. A stage for Airstar, smoke machine, stobes and disco lights, a bar!!! and the menu

For those who missed it, Rockstock was awesome event! Big up to Justin, Jon, Amy, Thys Mark and everyone else involved in organising it.

It is such a shame that some people chose to stuff the event by stealing from the bar - leaving the organisers out of pocket by R1500!!
