Hi
I'm leading a meet at Fernkloof this coming weekend(2009-11-01). We are going to the trad climbing areas further upstream. Anybody that wants to come along can contact me on:

I'll also be at the club house on Wednesday.

Cheers
Ian

:) Hi Ian,

Where in Fernkloof will most of the climbing take place. I might be a bit late and may not have a partner.

Hi
We will be climbing in the upper area.

We will be there at about 7:30.
If thats to early for you, Uschi and a couple of other people will be there at about 8:30. You can walk in with them.

If thats to early for you then:

Go out the gate at the the top of the campsite.
Follow a reasonable path downhill and aim for the left hand side of the kloof.
It get's a bit overgrown here and there.

Go up the steep slope over some slabs for quite a long bit, dont go to far away from the kloof or you might miss the gully. Keep going until you get to a very obvious gully, scramble down the gully. At the bottom of the gully is the meet spot. There should be people around.

There are quite a few people coming through so I'm sure we can hook you up with someone.

If you feel adventurous then you can go straight up the kloof, but there is some involved scrambling/bouldering on the way, but there is no way of getting lost.

Cheers
Ian
